Travel Day
Schedule of the Day
- Travel day! Take the day to travel to Tampa. Make sure to arrive before 8 AM tomorrow.
- Your Officer Team will check you into your hotel room as long as yourself or your roommate(s) are at the hotel.
- Hotel check-in is at 4 PM

Conference Day 1
Schedule of the Day
- It’s the first day of the conference filled with workshops starting at 8 AM – 1 PM with a Lunch and Learn.
- At 2 PM, you’ll join your choice of industry tour (EduTOUR).
- End the night from 6 PM – 8 PM with a networking social to meet other conference attendees.

Conference Day 2/ Travel Day
Schedule of the Day
- Start your day off at 8:30 AM with a Case Study Competition! It’s all practice and top performers receive a medal.
- The conference will officially end around 11:30 AM. Check-out is at 11 AM.
- After the conference ends, rest of the day is yours to explore until you fly out later that day.
Conference Costs
This year flight and transportation will be on your own, but we encourage you to fly/ride share together as much as possible. Please save all receipts for a potential refund from fundraisers and funding proposals.
The following items are the costs for ENGAGE 2025:

*Hotel pricing is based on if a member chooses a specific number of roommates (or none). If you choose to opt into a shared pricing, we generally place 1-3 members in a room and all members split the price of the total hotel cost. This will generally lower the cost of the hotel stay.
FAQ
What are the rooming options?
We highly encourage that you opt into the lowest rooming possible. By doing so, members generally lower their hotel costs and we make sure to fit people in the most comfortable sleeping solution. You also have a choice to select a particular room format (ie choosing a room to yourself or choosing to room with one other roommate). If you choose to select a room format, you are opting out of the group rooming costs and choosing to cover the pricing based on the table in Conference Costs.
Which flights should I pick?
We highly encourage you to book roundtrip (nonstop) flights between LAS and TPA. Here are the options for LAS -> TPA on 10/23:

Are there any fundraising to lower the cost of the trip?
Your officer team is working on providing ways to decrease the cost with upcoming fundraisers. You may receive a reimbursement pending on any grants the team submits past the ENGAGE conference.
Will attending ENGAGE excuse me from any classwork?
Sadly not. All members need to communicate with their professors if they miss class that day. UNLV DECA will provide a letter informing your participation at ENGAGE, but it is up to you to communicate and make any arrangements with your professors.
What if I am unable to attend ENGAGE after submitting my registration?
We will work with you on what can be refunded. Whatever amount is remaining that could not be refunded will be invoiced to you.
Payment Schedule
UNLV Collegiate DECA will provide as many opportunities to fundraise to decrease the cost of ENGAGE. Additionally, your officer team is exploring other resources. As more funds come in and the more money you raise through our fundraisers, you may receive a reimbursement check if you overpaid in deposits. If you would like to pay in Venmo or check, please contact deca@unlv.edu before the respective due dates. All transactions on Paypal include fees that Paypal takes from each transaction.
