Cecilia started her second year of DECA in the Spring of 2015 after she returned from her international studies in China. From volunteering for various community service projects to leading an important committee, the Chapter Award Ceremony (responsible for planning our annual end-of-the-year banquet). Cecilia leads from the heart and makes sure everyone’s voice is heard in any decision. Thank you for your hard work and we look forward to more amazing years with you!

Our #FabFriday goes to the UNLV DECA members (Dyan Baguio, Helena Lagos, Rochelle Mae Ruiz, and Stephanie Pancho) who will be graduating from the OCA Las Vegas Mentorship Program tomorrow! The mentorship program is a four month long program where mentees are paired with mentors in the mentees’ field of study or interest. Each month, the program hosts a session where OCA Las Vegas brings in prominent leaders to inspire and teach the mentees how to be better professionals. This year, the mentees had an opportunity to learn public speaking from the former White House Commissioner on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Rozita Lee to being a leader in diversity from North Las Vegas City Attorney Sandra Morgan. Previous mentees of the program have benefited in earning internships to learning valuable skills. UNLV DECA is excited to have members continue to be a part of the program for two consecutive years. Congratulations to the graduates of this prestigious mentorship program!
