Dr. Clifford McClain is an associate professor in the College of Education. Throughout the past 28 years, he has provided leadership and directions as a Career and Technical in Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Nevada. Dr. McClain was honored as the 2000 Nevada ACTE Outstanding Educator and 2001 Region V ACTE Outstanding Educator.

Cindy Bezard is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching & Learning earning her degree in Career & Technical and Postsecondary Education. Cindy holds a Bachelors Degree in Workforce Education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a Masters Degree in Higher Education from Abilene Christian University. As a Graduate Assistant in the College of Education she is looking forward to conducting research in the area of nontraditional student development and aspires to help nontraditional students reach their goals in higher education. She has been a Las Vegas Valley resident since 1974 and has spent the last 24 years in Boulder City where she raised her two sons – William (21) and Jeffrey (19). With both her sons in college now, she spends her time enjoying her two yellow Labrador retrievers, traveling, and going to movies.
