Our #FabFriday goes to Rochelle Mae Ruiz! Rochelle is a freshmen pursing a degree in Business and started her DECA career with our chapter. Rochelle’s start to Career Technical Student Organizations was in Southwest Career and Technical Academy’s HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America). As a freshman, Rochelle has made her mark within our organization. She has proven herself not only to be a leader, but a dependable member of our organization. Rochelle has taken leadership roles in over three committees and made sure the projects are seen to the end. Even if it includes last minute meetings, Rochelle makes sure to come prepared and is willing to take on any tasks. Rochelle has also proven herself to be an outstanding representative of our chapter when she was tasked to represent us at OCA Las Vegas meetings. Thank you for your hard work and we look forward to more memories with you!
“The emphasis on individual initiative, accomplishment and recognition is fundamental to DECA’s success during our first 50 years and it will be an important part of our future.” – Dr. Edward Davis, Former DECA Executive Director
