The Executive Team

Roger Trinidad
President
Roger Trinidad, a third-year Computer Engineering major, is pursuing minors in Computer Science and Math while combining his passion for technology and business to explore entrepreneurial innovations. His involvement with DECA has honed his soft skills, complementing his technical expertise in a competitive field. In his free time, Roger enjoys unwinding with a cup of Taro Milk Tea.
Joshua Yero
Administrative VP
Joshua Yero, a third-year Computer Engineering student at the University of Las Vegas, combines his passion for technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship as an investment consultant and personal finance coach. In addition to working on creative technical projects at home, he plays bass on his church’s worship team and mentors others as a youth leader. With ambitions to launch innovative tech ventures, Joshua is committed to making a lasting impact in the tech industry and his community.
Brandon Mero
VP of Finance
Brandon Mero is an accounting major at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a minor in Global Entrepreneurship. He serves as the president of UNLV Formula Racing and the vice president of finance for UNLV DECA, showcasing his leadership and financial acumen. Passionate about travel, Brandon spent a summer studying in Italy, enriching his global perspective.
Tanya Martinez
VP of Community Relations
Tanya is a senior studying hospitality and serves as the VP of Community Relations for DECA. In her free time, she enjoys bowling, playing PC games, and exploring new languages—currently speaking two while learning a third and fourth. Passionate about travel, her dream destinations include Japan and Spain.
Evia Rivera
VP of Competitive Development
Evia Rivera is a double major in psychology and criminal justice with a passion for reading and spending time with her dog. She enjoys trying new experiences and exploring different interests. One of her dreams is to travel to Greece someday.
Angela Ye
VP of Marketing
Angela Ye is a first-year student majoring in Business Administration: Marketing with a minor in Global Entrepreneurship. She previously served as the VP of Marketing and President for Sierra Vista DECA, showcasing her leadership skills. Angela is passionate about marketing and entrepreneurship, laying the foundation for a successful career in business.
McKenzi Rogers
VP of Membership
McKenzi Rogers is a first-year Business student and a new member of DECA. She is exploring interests in Business Management and Marketing as potential career paths. Excited about her journey, McKenzi is eager to grow and develop through her involvement with DECA.
Siraj Hamdan
VP of Technology
Siraj is a Criminal Justice major with aspirations of becoming an FBI agent. In his free time, he enjoys playing PC games, reading, hiking, and photography. Driven and multifaceted, Siraj is committed to pursuing his goals while embracing a variety of creative and outdoor hobbies.
