ENGAGE is an exciting professional development experience. Through networking opportunities, career development seminars, and in-depth industry tours, ENGAGE attendees will leave feeling confident and ready to conquer their career goals, whatever they may be!
This year’s ENGAGE Conference will be held in Austin, TX!
Complete the competitor registration below and we will follow-up with you on the next steps to attend ENGAGE. Last date to complete the registration is Saturday, October 2nd. By Monday, October 4th, we will email you the expected costs based on who is attending.

*Hotel stay can be reduced if more members of the same gender stay in the same room (up to 4). Please see FAQ- Rooming for more details.
**Flights for ENGAGE must be purchased on your own. Please see FAQ – Flights for when to arrive and suggested travel.
***Transportation will be on your own from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. Rates were taken from Lyft and are only an estimate. Members are expected to share the cost of transportation.
Members can decrease their price if the same genders attend the conference. The maximum amount of people in the hotel room is 4.
Flights will need to be purchased on your own. When looking for your flight, please make sure to keep the following in mind:
- Arrive at the hotel (should be at least a 15 min drive) before Conference Registration (6pm).
- Your departing flight should be in the afternoon on 11/13. Closing session will end at 11:30AM so make sure to book a flight with enough time to arrive to the airport, check-in, go through security, and relax in the terminal.
- Have your arriving flight and departing flight leave from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).
In regards to the price listed, we suggest using Spirit Airline with one bag checked-in. If you choose to use Spirit Airline, we suggest booking the following flights:
- LAS -> AUS | Spirit Airline | 8:20 AM – 1:01 PM
- AUS -> LAS | Spirit Airline | 1:58 PM – 3:01 PM
Only the conference registration and the hotel costs will need to be paid to the chapter. All other costs will be covered by attending members.

We highly encourage all members to get vaccinated, as advised by your healthcare provider, before traveling. Additionally, please make sure to check the link above and observe any restrictions that may or may not require bringing your COVID vaccination card. Lastly, make sure to wear masks and follow all CDC guidelines to ensure that you return home without catching COVID.
Sadly not. All members need to communicate with their professors if they miss class that day. UNLV DECA will provide a letter informing your participation at ENGAGE, but it is up to you to communicate and make any arrangements with your professors.
UNLV Collegiate DECA will provide as many opportunities to fundraise to decrease the cost of ENGAGE. Additionally, your officer team is exploring other resources. As more funds come in and the more money you raise through our fundraisers, you may receive a reimbursement check if you overpaid in deposits. If you would like to pay in Venmo or check, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org before the respective due dates. All transactions on Paypal include fees that Paypal takes from each transaction.
