#FabFriday: Annie Bellorin

Our #FabFriday goes to our VP of Finance Annie Bellorin! Annie is a second year Rebel majoring in Accounting. She loves Harry Potter and can beat anyone in a Harry Potter showdown. Annie stated her DECA journey as a Collegiate DECA member and will be competing at her first Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference in late April in Orlando, Florida. Annie has led various DECA projects from recruitment to hosting our second annual Diamonds In The Alley last October.
Thank you for your hard work and outstanding leadership!

#FabFriday: Bonnie Lei

Our #FabFriday goes to our first year member Bonnie Lei! Bonnie is a graduate of Southwest Career and Technical Academy where she started her high school DECA and FCCLA Career. She is currently pursuing a degree in business and as a freshmen, she has done remarkable feats. Bonnie has actively contributed to various projects from the Applebee’s Breakfast Social Fundraiser to competing in UNLV DECA’s intense competition, Shark Tank. The 2nd Annual Shark Tank challenged teams to develop a strong business plan for Kona Ice’s shaved ice kart deployment at UNLV. In a week after receiving the case study, each team went through a preliminary round where a panel of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and angel investors selected the best teams to proceed to the final round at the Nevada DECA State Career Development Conference in February 2015. Bonnie and her team passed the preliminary round with older members of our chapter on the other teams which is a remarkable accomplishment! When Bonnie is not competing, Bonnie takes on various tasks for different projects and encourages members to have fun while they’re working. Within five minutes, Bonnie can make any member smile. Thank you for your hard work and we look forward to amazing years with you!

#FabFriday: Alyssa Nikoley

Our #FabFriday goes to Alyssa Nikoley of West Career Technical Academy (West CTA) DECA! Please excuse our creepy President in the back. Alyssa is a senior at West CTA and has done miraculous feats to become an amazing Nevada DECA advocate from attending DECA conferences to being a social media inspiration! She has also attended various UNLV DECA events and volunteered her time to help with various UNLV DECA projects in the last two years. Even if it’s last minute, she’s one of a few Nevada DECA members UNLV DECA can count on. Thank you for being awesome!
